I had a really tough day today. I spent much of it wondering why things happen to some people and not others. When pain gets bad I spend a lot of time in the bath listening to music and it heals me and picks me up. Today I heard Lady Gaga's song Born this Way and felt like it was speaking to me. We all have to face something in our life. When we face that, we are also be given opportunity, an opportunity to grow, to be brave and to have courage. We may become someone stronger and more compassionate and stronger than we ever thought possible. When you're feeling broken, look at the whole person, not just the broken parts. You might find you can be your own superhero.
