Last week I was taken down by the flu. When you have a chronic illness the flu seems almost more than a person can bare. I felt this overwhelming darkness hanging over my head. I needed a spell to remove the darkness. Late in the day it occurred to me laughter would be a wonderful way to lift the darkness. I chose to watch Madagascar. I love King Julian. "I like to move it, move it!" He always makes me laugh. It worked! The darkness lessened. I couldn't make the illness leave, but I turned on some light to alleviate the darkness.
